Thanks Cameron. I just looked and I don't have any axle shims. I'll stop at the LHS tomorrow to see if they have anything.

Should the shim go between the spacer and the bearing, or between the spacer and the thrust washer? Or does it matter.

The V2 should have come with a machined spacer that goes on the shaft first. If something happened to that then the thrust washer would drag on the transmission housing. Could cause the drag you are describing. That is why I suggested testing with a couple of extra shims. If that fixes the issue then I would contact RCShox for another spacer.

i raced tonight and finished a respectful 3rd place in pro 4 "A main". i have to agree with the above statement. im running the vts slipper and the front pad does glaze up fast.

i notice inconsistent slipper fade. sometimes it seems to be working right and others it seems to be not working so good.

i plan on getting the exotec front slipper hub.

i can only say this tho, after reading all the info on here ive only gone forward with my truck. i also have to give "the jang" some credit for his base line set up on his videos.

I thought I had the new diff shims....guess not..
I doubt I'll be here in 25 years..it'd be nice but I'm not counting on it..
