I have never touched the buttons, hot wire to a reciever wire extension that pokes out of the rx box. If no rx box that's even easier access. I just bring a little notebook to hook up to. Thinking about trying to load the software on my driod bionic

Fail, downloaded but will not open. That would have been sweet!
![Default](https://www.rctech.net/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
Yep, looks like I'm still bringing the notebook with me ![Mad](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/mad.gif)
I'm gonna play with it though, the exe file downloaded, but it looks like it pulled it in and tried to save it as a video file. Maybe I can find a program to open it correctly

Does the driod have USB host though?
![Default](https://www.rctech.net/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
No, mini USB so I would have to go from tekin USB to a female USB/male mini USB cord or something. If it's possible to open the program, I would find a cord to get it connected![Rotating Tire](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/tire.gif)
So far no luck opening it. It's just sitting there teasing me

But you would not be able to use the hotwire is its just USB slave, even if you could connect it. It needs special software to be a USB host.

I can connect it to my notebook and supply 4g and also share files, but I guess that's not the same.

I saw that too. Fun times with their copyrights and duplicate cars that China doesn't care about and won't hold copyright laws. This is prime example why I won't buy that shotty quality, shotty controlled, shotty recased garbage. You're buying stuff that they ripped off someone else. If you're proud that you're taking money away from German, American, and so on - Companies. Be my guest.
(this has nothing to do with everything being made in China. They sell the plans given to them by tekin and LRP and remake the item cheaper with far less quality control.)
Course, I'm singing to a wall, so it doesn't matter.

Did you see that Top Gear lately (love that show) where the guys went to China and drove the new Chinese cars?
If you did, would you really take the QQ car over say a Carrera or an M3?![Big Grin](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I would say not the same difference for any product that comes out of those countries. Don't get me wrong, I'm not some die hard German car fan boy... I drive a 500 HP Subaru that costs a fraction of the cost of an M3.
But I will take a German or Japanese product any day over something from China.
Also, to note, I run tekin products and am happy with them. I did not mention China, just that tenshock is a German company and their kick a** motor is only $90.

alright I did a little bit of searching and could not find anything. I recently picked up my first SC10 4x4. The problem I am having is that my steering alignment keeps changing. My local track has a fast right turn before the straight away. Once I pull out of the turn and try to get on it, the truck will be pulling to the right, but not all the time. Not sure if it could be a stripped gear in the servo...nothing seems to be loose. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure others will chime in with other areas to check, but to make sure your servos good push the nose of the truck down give it some resistance and turn the wheels with the radio to see if you hear gears skipping.
No? Move on.
Are the wheel bearings on the side its turning towards gritty or worse exploded? Diff bearings? Do all 4 wheels turn with the same slight resistance? Or are one or two sticky?
