since i bought the sc10 4x4 when it first came out and have never changed the a arms.. is it going to make a big difference with new ones? they do look like their bent out of shape.. and for sway bar set up.. im running on a high bite clay track.. whats the best set up?

That is a prettier version of the Pin method myself and some others started using over 6 months ago. it worked really well other than destroying our rear idler gears.

I don't think it's going backwards at all. It would be useful to the right driver. The V2 Cdiff that I use is great, but only adjusting a nut and a pad is far simpler than itty bitty pins and maintaining a balldiff. The simplicity of that has it's uses for sure. (I hate tuning with those pins, but it simply 'works'. )

It will be awesome. It just won't be the Centerdiff. But the truck is fully capable of being great with or without it.

Plus 1 for this, I noticed its easy to miss the notch the couple of times I've refitted the rear gearbox and motor plate.

I'll admit I was unsure of this product when they first posted about it. However I was liking the FT clutch setup with garodisc's alot so I figured I'd give this a shot, and so far I'm really liking how it performs......... I can make the triples at my local track with ease and sometimes I over jump it lol......

Im kind of wondering how long I can get away with just this before needing to get the Garodiscs... I know eventually Ill have to get them, but for now I wanna see if it'll work just like a normal 2wd slipper now that the 3rd pad will be gone... *crosses fingers*

I think you are mistaken, the pin mod locked the rear and frt together. The Exotek locks the frt to the spur.

Exactly. I'm not sure I would want fulltime frontwheel drive with no slipper. Braking would be very strong which would require significant tuning. It would be worth the money to try it out to see.

I have the VTS slipper with stock pads for now and want a center diff. I just can't understand why a slipper was planned for this car unless AE will be using this platform for all 10th scale models. I would love to have a new SC10 2wd mid motor based on this kit. I torn down the slipper this weekend and after one pack there is witness of slippage on all pads. I had tightened the spring all the way down and backed off 1/8th turn and it was slipping way too much. I think I need a new spring.

I decided to keep my SC10 4x4 in tact and get the RCShox V2 dif for it.

Did you lighten up your front diff oil when using the Garo's vs the factory pads? I installed them and now I have a slight push on entry and middle corner.

Thanks, One of the local kids (leader, Black and green SC10 4x4 in the video) was having heat problems geared like that. He dropped down to a 12T and it was fine then. It must have just been the ambient temps.
