Was rebuilding my diff and got grease on the pad. Anyone want to recommend something other than a center diff? Probably going to get the vts

If you don't want the center diff, go with the VTS Slipper.

Fitted my VTS slipper today. Cant believe the difference. I can drive the truck harder and going out of corners I can come on the accelerator almost straight away now and not getting sideways. Deffinately worth it.

Has anyone changed their steering servo? Is it a big job to do with removing many parts etc?

Quite a few, you have to take apart most of the front.

Speaking of the VTS, how far do you tighten yours? I tried the stock setting (~1mm of threads showing) and it felt smoother and the belt actually didn't skip under hard braking anymore, but the outside pad was glazing over very fast (15 mins of driving and you could use it as a mirror). I went to 1.5 mm, and it glazes less, but still enough to be smooth after 3 runs or so.
I'm running a 550 size 5.5t LRP X12L at 14t.

Are the murphdog bullets like duratrax bullets? Got a pic of them? Went to murph's site and didn't see a pic available. I'm curious and may order some cuz I change my duratrax about once a month so the lipo case does not melt from loose connection causing arcing.

+1
I did not run a multi pad slipper before I got the C-Diff, but I used the Garos and they did not glaze after months of use and the power delivery seemed to be more controlled.
Even without a performance benefit, they are worth it for their longevity alone.

That may be the case, but they're 1) expensive and 2) would take weeks to get here. It can't be that you have to keep buying more and more stuff just for basic racing.
