Which Tekin ESC is good for an SC10 4x4? Is the 1/8 scale one over kill or is it preferred?

I just picked up a SC10 4x4 and havent got to run it yet. Im looking for advice.

It came with MMP spedo with Novak 4.5 12t pinion
He has 30wt all around in shocks
7k up front and 5k in rear
Clicker locked down
It has FT slipper
wheel hexes and sways

My questions is what next

Chassis brace? Benifits?

Saddle packs? Whats your thought before i buy batteries?

i will be running mostly on Mid size SC tracks and Clay indoor.

Thanks

Well I just ran my 4x4 outside for the first time this year. I gotta say that I've never had an easier car to drive! I have the RC Shox pistons and the V1 diff. My own take on the rest of the setup. Wow!! I still feel that the diff limits forward thrust, but luckily our track flows well, and it really didn't hurt me . We got rained out before the mains, but I was hoping to defend my TQ from a well-driven Durango. I am ordering the V2 upgrade to get some launch back, but I feel that the shock pistons are a MUST-HAVE! My truck was planted, and landed jumps (even badly executed ones) like a wet sponge. Poofff!, not boingggg.
There was a fellow sc10 driver there, with the V2, but he was off-pace. I will help him with my setup, and get him up to speed (he is a good driver) , then the lousies and durbangos better watch out!

Thanks. I have the R5 for my b4.1 and it is awesome. I need something better for my truck and wasn't sure if the R5 could handle it. Sounds like the Rx8 is the one to get.

I'm not sure what that's supposed to acomplish. The CVA is what hits the outdrive; that is, unless you want to cut the CVA in half which will fix the outdrive forever...

I'm missing a bit of material under my outdrives. Looks like the slots in the outdrives took a chunk out of the arms.

Those running the Tekin Pro4 4600, what are you using for gearing? I started with 13/62 and tempted 170 at 5 min. Went down to an 11 and made 8 min at 175. I run on a smallish indoor track with medium grip. The straight is no more than 60-70ft. Here's a vid of the current layout:

yeah know ?

The Dremal happens to be my best Ae tuning tool .....

believe its just the
CVA's hitting the outdrives ...

*compress arm all the way up, then look at where dogbone is bumping inside of diff cup...

suggest
install 8mm external limiter on all shocks to limit arm travel

nice track
Looks just like our 4-Seasons in Lacey WA.
drivers stand & all, cept 4s has white PCP pipe
