Is this the TRCR racetrack you are speaking of WC? Looks fun and technical.
Seems like down here in Houston our tracks are a lot more wide open. Our vehicles take a beating.
We have slot car tracks bigger than that. That's just a Texas joke, lol.

Center of the hood, over and behind the from wheel wells, over the rear wheel wells, and behind the cab above the motor. Basicly look at a flo-tek body, and that will give you some ideas. Don't forget to re-enforce the front wheel well bellow the front wind shield, or you first head on will result in some nice cracks
Dont cut out the back of the roof, it will eventually crack and does not give you enough of a difference to be worth it.

You found the right video...
Trcr is a med size indoor track ...
N/w outdoor tracks can be quite big , Carnation & Pasco's tracks compare to anything in Texas .....
Use to have a huge indoor , but it went out
of business a few years ago ...

The cost of running an indoor track I am certain is high and to keep a large one open would require a big following.
Mike's Gulf Coast Raceway down here I suppose is the closest we have to indoor offroad even though it is outdoors, but covered. It's huge.
The back triple is so big there should be a skull and crossbones warning sign on it.![Laughing](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/laugh2.gif)
What I like about TRCR is how clean I could keep my truck! And the bite, man 2wd would be fun. But.. I want a little longer straight.

I would rather have the stock kit with center diff and exotek than the FT.
If I were starting from scratch again on this truck and wanted to save as much cash as possible and have a solid race truck I would get:
Exotek with inline saddle kit
MMP & Pro4
Center diff
yellow springs front and rear
yellow bars front blue rear
5k diff oil all around
rebars or whatever one set of tires that works decent at your local tracks
I think that would give a decent driver the equipment needed to be competitive in a club race.
+1
Start with sway bars, and the center diff then go from there.
Also seems like the last 20 pages have rehashed everything addressed from day one.
Edit, One thing I would do differently is buy a Tekin RX8. Castle's customer service has taken a dive. I have MMP and so far so good. Another bonus of the RX8, you don't need a BEC. Also if you opt not to get the Exotek chassis you will want a chassis brace.

RPM arms are better than stock but they still warp. I store my truck on a stand with wheels removed and race once or twice a week. I just found a rear arm that is warped. If the hingepin does not slide in smooth the arm is twisted. RPMs solution was to boil the arm for 5min and bend back. What a pain! Would be nice to have stronger arms that resist warping but not so brittle that they will snap when taking a hard hit.

i am going to run a viper copperhead in this thing and i guess the kit it is, roll bars also and ill get the center diff after i get settled in....track has a lot of parts for this...
also i am a pretty good driver with the 2wd buggy and 4wd, this class should be fun and easy to run. I could probably break this thing out and dick around with it in the dirt when I am bored...my b4.1 and b44.1 defiantly are not doing that

I am surprised the rpm a-arms are not softer considering how there other stuff is.
