Nothing to it" Just sqeeze the spring in a pair of plyers before installing
just like you do diff springs and slipper springs before you install them

You opinions would be valued

Thanks lyrragnus

I run the Novak pro sc esc with LRP 4.5 550 in my SC10 4x4 with no issues at all..... I was sceptical at first buying the esc but have no regrets and would buy another one......

Yes" bottom oring replace with Ofna Hyper 9 oring, top use SC10 2wd
shock oring. Make sure to pack them in Mobile 1 RED synthetic grease for
smooth action and no leaks. Someone came on here and said it will turn
your shock oil into jam (LOL) don't buy into that story. I've been
using it in shocks for years and at worst it turns your shock oil pink LOL"

The important thing I found was the holes in the top of the cartridges are
deformed or to small so you need to open them up some to stop the binding.

Also becareful thinking it all works smooth with the cartridge out of the
shock because in some cases you tighten them down in the shock and
they deform some and give a slight bind. In which case you need to take
the catridge apart again and open it up some more.

Hope this helps you and others on here"

I think I had this problem, and it was because the shaft that goes through everything wasn't lined up properly (the hex on the shaft wasn't inside the hex on the bottom half of the saver.)

Pre-compress the spring, make sure that you line up the shaft properly, and it should go on, but it will take a little bit of effort.

Spektrum S6040, and no, but ThunderbirdJunkie is also on FM and not using a power-hungry 2.4 receiver.

Oh, and thanks for not quoting the picture

It amuses ThunderbirdJunkie how you've contributed nothing to this thread, and want to whine about somebody who has. Charlie Sheen copied ThunderbirdJunkie; there is proof.

Well Billysnarf wonders why the 3rd person referrals bug you guys so much... Yes it is a bit odd, but it does not bother Billysnarf at all.

Its an online forum, who cares how someone refers to themself....... And the topic is about the sc10 4x4 not how somebody posts...........

ON TOPIC:

Ilanstylz , would like to know who is using the viper motor and has run the castle setup, and if so what is your opinion as far as power difference and heat issues etc? Thanks

Don't you have better things to do than whine? Build a bridge and get over it.
