For anyone who thinks Savox servos are not very power hungry.

Agreed. They draw some insane power causing voltage fluctuations.

While the sc104x4 thread is not the best place to discuss.....

Does your lab scope/probe have the ability to measue current draw? By your scaling on the lab scope it looks like your running 5v BEC voltage. What does it look like at 6v?

Really that graph doesn't prove that the Savox is power hungry. It proves that the MMP can't handle the current requested by the Savox and the Spektrum RX has a minimum voltage around 3 volts.

I'm curious about how my Viper ESC would handle that same test, would it drop voltage. It could be that the MMP really only outputs less then 3 amps.

No it doesn't my Dmm does though..... That scope can only use 5V, its a cheap USB one.

I'm going to try another servo to see the results.

Another little improvement that actually works ......

So it raises the outer link higher which raises the roll center, right?
And that does......?

controls the roll better , brings fewer traction roll overs ....

+1

on the inner stud going to 7mm shims eliminated the traction rolling I had. I think about 5mm is a good position too, especially in the front for the conditions I ran on. (carpet over jumps)

So how does both raising the inner one or raising the outer one reduce roll over? Aren't they exact opposites? Also has anyone put shims under the outer front camber link?

I just remembered that one other thing different about the FT kit is that it came with shims to install on both front/rear inner studs.......

I have the Gens Ace 6000 saddles and in order to use the b44 mounts you need to add a spacer under the post or a longer screw on top. I will post some pics tonight on what I did to get my 6000's installed.

The MMP only has a 1.5A BEC, which is quite low.. even less power hungry servos draw more than that. Safest way is still using an external BEC, I use the 4$ Hobbyking one without any issues.
