Just took the shocks apart for the first time and tried to follow the associated video on how to build them emulsion style. When i take the bladder out of the shock i dont see any o ring in the cap like he says in the video. And sorry for the dumb question but if there is a bleederscrew hole why is there a little hole under it too. It leaks out of there. Not good with shocks only have built a couple before. Please fill me in
The little hole is for bleeding shocks with bladders. You can't bleed out the top hole because the bladder would block the fluid path and just balloon out.

Mine did not come with any exra hardware for the /slipper assembly. Nor have I had problems. But I can take mine appart and check the thikness of the slipper thrust spacer. It might be a good investmesnt to get the high torque slipper pad aswell.
Ill post the measurements in a bit.

Just wondering why everyone wants to know what different wheel will fit the truck? Is there something wrong with the stock wheels? Is there a problem mounting different manufacturers tires to the wheel? Just curious because I am going to load up on a variety of Proline tires and if there is no problem with the stock wheels, Associated's stock wheels are what I will buy instead of having trouble fitting other wheels.

the DE wheels for SCTE are about 2mm narrow compared to the stock AE wheels, FYI in case you read that they fit/work. they do but you lose width. That must be why DE said they are making an sc10 4x4 specific wheel

my DE wheels seem fine. Anyone have pics with a caliper comparison of both?

Hey again guys, im having a bit of troubles still with the trucks setup. Now i run on mostly dusty 1/8th tracks, and currently my setup is:
30 weight in the front-no rebound-bladders
25 weight rear- no rebound- bladders
over drive in the front
stock ride height, but lowered in the back to make equal front to back.
5mm washers under the front ballstuds
And im running m2 calibers all the way around.
Now the truck is quite good, but still fairly loose in the rear. On long sweeping corners it wants to drift out, and sometimes on the tight corners too, if i get too carried away with the throttle.
Anyways i was just wondering if this can be fixed or helped any further? It just seems like the truck has way too much give in the back.

I just set the rims on my setup board next to each other on the side, de scte and stock sc10 4x4 and the de rim itself is more narrow. they may stick out the same due to offset.

I just went and hit my AE & DE wheels with my digital caliper and the DE
SCTE wheel is 1/2 mm narrower off set then the AE wheel so that makes
the SC10 4x4 a total of 1 mm narrower with the DE SCTE wheel.
Heres the funny thing I noticed while I was checking them out: The AE
wheel is 1 mm wider where the tire mounts then the DE wheel. The AE
wheel has the outside bead of tire 1 mm out farther then the DE wheel
does. So if you look at it with this in mind the truck will be 6mm over all
narrower with the DE wheel the the AE wheel.
So then I put both the AE & the DE wheels on the SC10 4x4 and the over
all mesurement was 3 mm wider with the AE wheel then the DE wheel. So
even though the inside offset is only 1/2 mm between the two wheels if
you mesure them on the truck the extra width of the AE wheel ends up
giving you a 3 mm wider truck the the SCTE DE wheel does. I'm not sure
this will make a whole lot of difference in the way the truck handles, but
I could wrong"
Sorry, no pictures as I have no idea how to post pictures.
