Do you mean the 1415 2400kv, or the 1410 3800kv motor?
As far as those pinion, I cant tell if thay are the harened or alloy. You deffinatly want the hardened pinions.

With fresh built bladder shocks you usually lose a mm or 2 in ride height if built pressurized (with rebound).

Is anyone adding weight to their trucks? A local pro and a couple of other fast guys here are adding 5-7 oz. to theirs. It seems kinda counterproductive to me, but they are fast.

Everywhere! Mostly on the left side by leaving out the esc tray and any other flat surface you can stick a weight to.

the factory ae guy in las vegas at 702 raceway has added 6.5 oz to his truck mostly on the front left. to balance out the weight.

I think they are using a string at the center to find the weight from side to side to balance the truck.

I've heard of people using like a jewelry scale on all 4 corners to balance.

I just cant picture in my head why it would need that much weight on one side.

The lengths aren't all that different. I'd contact AE now for a replacement (they must be well aware of those issues by now)... and then I'd run that shorter spring in the meantime and just adjust the preload up more on that corner. Do not cut the spring.

Depending on your battery and electronics the truck is right side heavy by a lot. I placed my weight on the left nerf bar. This let me use only 1.75 oz instead of the 3.5 it was going to take on the chassis.

Sorry if this seems like a spam shot, it's been brought to my attention that people are STILL stating the Novak Ballistic 550's don't fit. THEY DO, many have purchsed installed and used them.

My Novak 550 slipped right in ...

Its very fast too....

Yea.... That seems excessive.

I doubt seriously AE would design a truck that would require that much lead.
