Those look nice!

Couple of suggestions based on photos:
1) Should offer some thumbscrews that fit one side to make battery swapping faster
2) I like the way RcShox use the horzontal brace/strap so that it doesn't go under the belt tunnel. This setup would allow people to run the tallest saddles they can fit under the belt without the strap getting in the way. Do you know if these will fit the taller 6000mah packs?

So a friend gave me his SC104x4 which he built. He managed to blow up a steering servo and somehow the steering itself doesn't move more than a couple cm.

Any thoughts? I think he used some different screws for the top of the rack, but are there any secrets to making it work? Anything else I should check into when re-checking his work?

Check on the bottom of the chassis. There is a single screw that holds the back of the front bumper skid plate to the chassis. If its to long, It will impeed the steering throw. Try that and let me know.

FAIL! I told you those screws would not work. Bust out the book and go back to stock. OR upgrade to RCShox steering rack. It will give you all the correct parts to fix the issue more than likely.

I just ordered the aluminum chassis. Heard it really helps the truck handle better. This will be my second run at this truck. Hope it turns out better this time around.

Got my clutch basket today. Holy s!*$T, traction? about effing time! Only got a few min on the pavement with sreet tires on today, hitting the dirt tomorrow. But from what i can tell this thing is a whole new truck, temped it after the running for the few min, 84 degrees. Wow. Compared to the 150+ it used to get.

This by far has been the best 35 bucks ive ever spent on RC stuff. Props to MTK and a BIG THANK YOU for shipping it so fast, dang!

And a thanks to all the knowledgeable people on here posting things, read em all and it helps a bunch! Love this truck, thanks for not making me go to the darkside (losi)...

Exotek is next..

Default time for 2nd best up grades.

Now that you got a bit of drive , drop in the 2 stage pistons and the ackerman arm replacement from rcshox , that will give you the handling and settle down the steering so you can drive it now with all that power. I run indoor clay and have my truck pretty dialed if you want a set up

What has everyone settled on a good combo with the stage 2 pistons. Everyone still using 6 holes for compression and rebound. What size of holes for each.

Default Ball diff issue

I found an issue with the ball diff from Marcus. You will want more POWER! Tried gearing up my CC1410 as far as i could but I still felt like it could be pushed harder. Put a Tenshock SC411 4600kv in it and it is sooo much faster! So you may think the center diff is only going to cost you $45 but unless you have a faster motor it could cost you a lot more..... Damn you Marcus

I'm using the original 2 stage pistons (no mods) with 27.5 front and 22.5 rear, yellow springs both ends. Fairly smooth outdoor track with tight turns and small to med jumps. Works very well.

Lol, I thought I had lost some power when I first started using it, till I ran the first race with it and was still running down ebuggies with my pro4 and hitting the sweeper at full speed.

Yea me too. Running 25f 20r right now, probably going to up it to 27/25 for the bigger & smoother outdoor track this weekend. I'm getting too much rear weight transfer right now causing me to push, going to try that and run yellow springs all around.
