A few things I learned, the proline powerstroke rear shock spring kit for the slash has some stiffer springs for the front end. They are a good fit and worked well this last weekend.

http://prolineracing.com/performance...sortment-rear/

On high indoor traction I am running a 15t on my 3800 and it comes off the track at 140deg, but it needs a bit more rip, but much better than my 550 for sure.

Hope this helps

My buddy used some this last weekend. The main springs fit just fine, just can't use the dual rate settup as the ring between the two springs wont fit.

I already have the gold front springs and those seem to work ok, so I didn't mess with them personally.

I had to massage them a bit to get them over the collars but they settled in fine, and like stated before you only use the rear larger springs leave the shorty ones in the package. They worked great for me.

Welll the snows gone the tracks good finally and I am all a titter in anticipation of the first launch of my new SCTE this afternoon.... I just hope I was lucky enough to get one with the hard pins... when i changed the diffs it has decent screrws that seemed to have no issues with stripping i wonder if theres a reloationship between shitty screws and shitty pins.... we shall see.

For those that are running the MMP with a BEC, I have a few questions for you.

1. Did you increase the BEC voltage using a castle link? What level do you have it at? 6?

2. I'm following the diagram. Looks simple enough. Anything else I need to look out for as far as installation and setup?

I have the MMP SCT combo and was experiencing some cutoff issues. For example, if I go full throttle, the combo seems to cut in and out and at one time, it just cut out completely. I thought it was a distance issue but the SCTE was only 3 houses down from me.

If this BEC doesn't solve my issues, I'm sending the combo back to Castle to make sure everything is working, then I'll put it up for sale and stick with my RX8 - SC4X 5.5 combo or purchase another combo as backup. Gotta love Tekin's military discount

1. Yes - I am using a high voltage servo in the car I have the BEC in so I set it to 7.4 volts. You can change it to whatever you want with CastleLink
2. Installation is easy. Soldered in line with battery connections to the ESC, plugged into spare\batt port on the receiver. On the wire that plugs the ESC into the receiver, remove the red wire, I pulled mine out of the connector and taped up.
3. No more glitching for me!
