I lawn darted pretty bad, over shot the triple. anyway , thats what it looked like minutes later.
I had just rebuilt the diffs and shocks. I am pretty sure I loc tite'd all of the proper screws. I think I just landed too hard.
I didnt inspect it it too hard yet. I just took it back to my trailer and blew it off. This happened right before I needed to leave .

Thanks, question though?? Le Outdrives, is this a different brand of outdrives? and inserts, are you talking about the bearings? I only have the bearings on the outdrives, is there an insert???
Because they have to sell it at a price that competes in a crowded market. And just like all the other cars they compete against, you need upgrade parts to make them more durable and competitive.
I rather get it cheap and then buy the upgrade parts I want than pay more for the kit and then have to replace those parts with something else I like better.

Light weight sorry freaking auto correct on phones lol .the insert is a hex shape insert ,the oring and.the thin metal shim sit.on.it . You can look up a diff case on Amain.and see.the.insert
So...your truck works great but because there is some slop, you are getting super frustrated...the lightened outdrives help due to tolerance. The best thing to do to help with some of the slop is to take either your existing diff case or a new one and glue those metal inserts into the case. This will help some of what you are referring to as slop. Keep in mind they will always move some as you have a short distance that has to have clearance to spin and then a long outdrive or portion outside the diff case. So, there will always be some amount of slop there.
gotta ? for those that know....
when using the eight titantium links and ends will the stock metal inserts from the scte kit fit or would I have to get the ones from the eight kit??

what is the weight difference between the stock shock towers and the TLR carbon fiber ones. I just want to total it out because i don't have a reliable scale.

Thanks, that makes sense, I would be willing to bet that the ones currently on my truck are heavily worn, so I will replace and try this.

Yea, I am impressed with the performance of this kit, and to say super frustrated would be exaggerating, a bit, thanks for the advice
if i am understanding correctly you can only run a certain type of wheel on this truck? or will any short course wheel work fine?
