Because they have to sell it at a price that competes in a crowded market. And just like all the other cars they compete against, you need upgrade parts to make them more durable and competitive.

I rather get it cheap and then buy the upgrade parts I want than pay more for the kit and then have to replace those parts with something else I like better.

Somebody installed a crooked truck on a straight motor. It's hard to see on the picture, but that looks more like something tore apart than came loose. I have forgotten the Locktite on my 8T, it usually just comes apart enough to waste the spur.

We run 8 min mains indoors on med size track. I have no problem making it w/ a few warmup laps on 5300 65c pack. Runnin a castle 1410. Other trucks this week were runnin tekin 4 poles, tenshock 4600's, and lrp motor. Everyone made the whole main....i think the old tekin and novak motors are just battery hogs....

I have the same prob with slop in my center diffs. I have new outdrives but haven't put them on yet. Also curious how to fix this easily.

Yea, I'm pretty frustrated with it, I think I'm just going to buy new the rest of the things I haven't already tried,

If anyone else knows what causes this please respond./......

Put the lightened outdrives in it. They have a tighter tolerance and takes out the slop.

Thanks, It already has them on, but I think they are pretty worn, does losi make a different diff case, it seems like the case needs to be a mill or 2 longer, I know a little slop is good so it won't bind, but you can move mine side to side quite a bit, not really worried about the forward and rear slop,
