Well i don't have a XXX based truck but i do have a XXT. so i decided to make my own conversion. using SC10 motor, ESC , wheels and tires. Slash 2WD body mounts. part of my Slash 4X4 front bumper. Not sure yet on a rear bumper. slash 2WD body mount work perfectly i used my Slash 4X4 body and didn't have to drill new holes.

It Fly's, its lighter than my AE SC10 heres a few pics.

and the finished product. (XXsct)

Ok, Im looking to do this with my xxxt, and I have a question, will my stock wheels work after shortening the axles? Im not wanting to have to buy new tires for a new truck, I only plan to buy the front bumper and the body, the rest I can make And a few pages back, somewhere, casting side bumpers out of epoxy was mentioned, does that work? if it is at all possible to cast things out of epoxy?, it would be useful to me (for my planes)
Thanks,
~Legot

Is shortening the axles required for fitting under the SC10 body? Yes.

No, you need to use the SC tires and wheels to have it fit under the SC Body.
You also need to lengthen the chassis by an inch and a half.

I tried, but was not able to, I ended up just using double stick tape.

Thanks.

Sorry if this is kind of weird... I'd just prefer a short course type truck over a stadium, and I'm new to cars, I'm normally a plane guy

and I posted it in your thread, just to see how others respond.
Thanks again,
Legot
I show and explain how I did everything in this thread, if you have any other questions, let me know.
