Use a piece of string to find the perfect length with a little slack and get two from TQ Racing so you have a spare. There great people over there. And yes they are all universal.

Increase by 4mm trackwidth as the pic shows.

The 3 line axles actually go right back to the first RB5 the arms were 2mm shorter than what is now kit standard. The SP/SP2 length of arm is the same as the worlds update(LA243) arms just different shock mounting configurations.
I'll check to see what the ROAR and IFMAR limit is on width. For some reason the rear end looks narrow, even though I know the parts are right(just replaced them per the specs of the UMW517 upgrade kit). Thanks guys!

i currently have a orion 1106 servo that i am trying to use in my sp2.the problem with this servo is that when i put it in the shaft of the servo is way to long for any servo horn to fit flush on the servo! i cant put it on all the way at all! i tried re centering it and cant get it on.it hits the steering posts and the steering link as well.everything is ready to go.all i havd to do is fix this problem.why is tge shaft so ling to begin with? am i stuck here or do i need to buy another servo? ive tried everything and nothing works with this servo.

what orion/ko servos are people using? i really need help with this because i have to run it tgis weekend!

thanks

Hmm, Thats odd. I don't have any personal experience with that servo, but I do know that the KO RSX Response fits perfect and is awesome.

Are you using the correct horn for the Orion servo? The common tooth numbers are 23, 24 and 25 for servo shafts. These 3 are supplied with the kit and should suit most servos, just need to find the right one for the number of teeth on the Orion servo.

If you are using the correct horn, you may need to adjust the spacing of the servo back from the steering posts. There are spacers for this supplied in the kit as well.

Orion servos should use the 25t Futaba horn (At least the Savox made VDS-1007 does) From what I have seen most standard size servos are a tight fit clearance wise in the RB5.. I personally use AE Factory Team aluminum servo mounts from my old B4.. They are slightly shorter than the K ones and give you a little more clearance.. If you're handy with a dremel you can shorten the plastic K ones as well..1-2mm is about what you need.. I have done as well this with pretty good results

ive tried spacing and all this is the problem as shown in pic! if the horn would go all the way on i would be fine.the shaft of the servo itself is way to long.the horn is a 25t futaba servo horn. very odd

My horn sat on my Orion servo without issues . I didn't have any clearance issues after the servo was placed on the chassis. Are you using a ZX-5 horn maybe?? I don't know if there any different??

that would explain why yours fits the shaft on yours is shorter than mine.i have the orion digital vds 1106.why would they make a servo with the shaft that sticks out that far? i used it in my fs2 and it was the same way but it worked due to the fact that there was enough room. so it didnt matter.i just thought these servos were supposed to be like that from factory

oh well either i cut the shaft or buy a new one

Honestly it just looks like you need to tighten the hell out of it to get it down

Try a different servo horn out of the 3 that is supplies with the kit. It should be flush and it should be easy to put on.
