Do you guys put green slime or some other O-ring grease on the Kyosho O-rings in the big bores?

Sorry it might be a stupid question.

No such thing as a stupid question Neil-- uh oh-- Did Neil get BB's? I have never had the need to use slime on my Kyosho shocks seals-they dont leak-but a little on the threads of the shaft during assembly is a good idea..

Ya, I finally got some BB's. Can't wait to try them out.

Thanks for the tip.

I did when I assembled mine last week. I also used it about 2 months ago on my SC-R (non-big bores) and I haven't had any leaks what-so-ever. I typically run it in 2 races (at least 6 events) per week. Perhaps it would have been this good w/out it but to me it can't hurt to try it.

Below is the result.

No need for any "Get a Tekin, etc..." jokes. I'm well aware of the history of this particular ESC.

My temporary fix below.
This Esc is so much taller I couldn't mount it on the side. I had to mount it on the battery strap.
i wonder when Novak will stop installing that extra smoke ... sorry to see it happen again just hate to see novak have all these issues

there is a bigbore front tower part# um525 but its longer so u have to either go several turns out on shock end to get some droop back or other wise get these longer ones

Default 6 hole pistons

Hello everyone!

Today I did some testing of new parts in my RB5 SP2...one of the things I tried was the new 6 hole pistons for the big bores in the rear...is anyone else running these?

I found the rear suspension to handle jumps a lot better due to the added pack with the car hardly bottoming out in the landing.

Although I was expecting this to happen I was really suprised to find that the ar was better in the rough section of the track with great ability to handle holes and bumps a lot better! I even inreased the oil at the back from 32.5 to 35 and the car was even better!

Please people that already tried these pistons let me know what you think...

Regards
Argi

i take it that the six holes are smaller in size compared to the five hole
