I previously had the stock rear yellow springs on my SP2 and I had the car running to low with the springs maxed out. I bought the Cobalt blue rear springs, put them on and the same thing. I just have the regular shocks not the big bore. Any suggestions

Yeah, it's expensive. But, you will not need new wheels and tires. Use the spare parts you already have. Not all bad. I'm just leery of spending that much on a chassis that may or may not work on my local tracks.

Bill.

But not... it's only a chassis, gearbox case and a few other bits n bobs..
In addition to that, the chassis is Al, so when it get the cr@p beaten out of it on the track, users will be up for anew one @ $200+??

I would prefer them to make it out of the same carbon composite as the OEM one and sell the "kit" for ~$100.

are you running buggy front springs by chance? or did someone install longer shock shafts?
how long are the springs end to end ?

Nope, the springs are definitely the right length-- 2.5 inches. And the shafts are stock.

Thats odd. First thing I would do is put new o rings in and oil, and then see if its still like that. Also are you using the wrong bottom shock spring holders? The part tree comes with 2 different ones. Use the taller ones, not the flat ones.

I used the taller spring holders and I just built the kit three weeks ago, so the shocks are almost brand new. I don't understand what could be wrong

Thats really odd. Check for any binding. The next thing that comes to mind is that you have the old taller tower, but I know you don't since you just built a new kit. As the taller tower came with the original kit from years ago.

If its nothing like that, take everything apart and double check everything. It could be something simple right in front of you.
