Last night they posted the screws and bearings would come out last night. I expect them today.

Screws are already sold out, they said to expect more stock in a couple weeks.

Hi,

Did you notice, they changed availability to "late May"?

I would guess this is their second production run and all of the first run are spoken for. The b7d still says lat Jan.

His post was from Amain's website, Your's was from Associated, for the B7, however they still show the B7D to be available mid January.

You're right, AE website currently showing Late May for the standard B7; B7D says Jan.

Hopefully a glitch in the system, or indication that dealers have taken all the available B7s from the first batch. Would be a shame to have a 3/4 month delay.

Matt Gonzales posted a kit picture this morning on Instagram; It looked to be retail packaging in the typical AE kit box - this is a good sign.

1up is showing in stock on the B7 and d. Timing is about right for first orders to be in store. I'll see how long it takes to get shipping notice. If it's in stock, I'd assume I'll get shipping notice today.

Got a little excited!

Not in stock. It states this:

THIS IS A PREORDER! RC10B7 KITS ARE NOT YET IN STOCK! Orders will ship as soon as we receive our kits from Team Associated. Update as of Jan 24, AE says kits will now arrive at the end of January. PRICE IS $389.99 IN CART.

Personally, I prefer Schelle or StickyKicks titanium screw kits (really miss Lunsford). I’m not a fan of the UFO button heads. So I’ll be waiting for a while.

I really dislike the standard black screws especially for my wet car. After 1 meeting they showed some rust etc.
The kit bearing should be fine except those from the .4. I had a few go bad after a few runs and heard the same from other racers.
The B6.4 kit steel screws can rust here in the PNW constantly damp 3 seasons sitting in a non-environmentally controlled room.
