This is going to sound dumb but the gearbox in the car I just assembled had a "tight" spot when rotating it by hand. It went away after I took it back apart and re-ordered the idler gears in the case, now it spins free. Your results may vary.

From the video it sounded like it could be one of the following:-

1. The diff screws are not tight enough and are rubbing the bearing holder. It is wise to use a 2.5mm hex head screw to make the threads in the gearbox case prior to using the countersunk 2mm screws and make sure that they go in square.

2. The diff screws are too tight and have deformed the teeth on the outside of the diff casing

This is what we call "total bind free" drivetrain

This B7 uses stock ball bearings

I saw this video that shows updates to parts like
- Diff case cover
- C-block
- Front shock tower protector

Seems good updates but I cant find more info like: when released, kit and/or sparas, new/same artNo?

Anyone who knows?

Seems to be a running change.. So safest bet would be to buy the revised kit. I think the hobby shops will sell the old parts first.
