Just received my kit from Amain. No carbon fiber chassis stiffeners and not even a set of wheels. WTF???

Unless I’m confusing side pods and chassis stiffeners. But definitely no wheels.

No wheels. No carbon stiffeners. The stiffeners are an option part (500733). Not sure why Billy didn't include wheels in the kit. None of us got wheels with our kit either.

Okay, good to know. Definitely not a deal breaker. Would wheels from an RB6.6 or XB2 work?

Yes, they should work due to that new spacer in the Gen3 kit. Luckily, I only have serpent wheels and nothing to worry about from that perspective.

Default Carpet???

For those of you who are racing on carpet. How well does the car do? Any word on a box stock carpet car?

Are the gull wing arms a must for carpet racing the Gen3?

No. I hate how they dive into a corner and roll through the corner. Flat arms give me a much more preferred response.

Default Geardiff

Had my first parts break here the other day.. was a little surprised that these would break before the wishbones.
(Photo here, got error message)

Parts are hard to come now these days.. my LHS (Norway) haven't got any in stock yet :/
Running on astro, figured I want a geardiff, which is sold out everywhere..
Anybody know if a different brand differential would be compatible?

Get Crowbar Racing Products fan mount and battery mount on your cars. They are amazing. Don’t forget to replace the camber links with M3x50mm titanium turnbuckles from Lunsford. No more breakages.

The Crowbar racing products are fantastic. I using the battery strap, fan mount and the front shock protector. I tried the lundsford camber link in the front. I snapped one in a lap and a half on the first run with them. I also tried the Klinic camber links and bent the 3mm version and also the 3.5mm version. This time I'm trying the Rc speed secrets 3.5mm camber links
