Installed shims on my rear links to reduce rear driveshaft pinion angle. Figured I'd share.

Gave mine the carbon treatment. Now my body matches my control arms.

Are those panels for the SBR or did you retro fit them to work on the SBR cage?

they are specifically made for the sbr.

I imagine it will look terrible after the crash.

Being that it's molded I expect it to be fairly pricey. The stock body without the cage is $200. It's plastic.

Thumbs up Rear Roll Cage Brace Info

I also put a brace on the rear of the roll cage. It works great too, it stops the roll cage from twisting and as

instead of just twisting the back part
I really like a lot of your ideas, so much so that I have done many of the same upgrades to my SBR as well. I really like your brace on the rear roll cage idea. I was wondering if you have any more information on that upgrade? Specifically how you did it, what you used for cross brace, attaching hardware, etc? Any info you are willing to share is greatly appreciated! This is the one modification that I've only seen you do and it honestly seems like something everyone would want to do after I received my SBR and had a chance to get my hands on in person. It's kind of a no brainer. Much to my surprise I have not been able to find any info anywhere. Again thank you in advance, BigT

Default What lipos to get?

Length139mm / 5.47in
Width48mm / 1.89in
Height37mm / 1.46in
Weight499gr / 17.60oz

Trying to buy 2 3s lipos for my SBR but the only thing that concerns me is the height. When I measure battery case it seems like it will be a snug fit. Have you all had any problems or believe 2 will fit? Or reccomend any batteries? These SMC lipos are 7400mah are $63

My smc 4s have basically the same dimensions and they fit, but it is very snug. You can see sticker scraped because it's tight fit.

How many mAh is that 4s? Yes they are the same height and you fit 2 of them but just with a snug fit?

4500 mAh.

yes I use two, just tight fit. I also moved battery foam from the door to front of battery tray to move weight bias more towards the rear.
First picture shows comparison of battery height between smc batteries I have and the recommended dynamite reaction 3s batteries that horizon recommends.

Thanks just ordered up 4 SMC lipos. 2 3s and 2 4s lipos. Have not ran on 6s yet but enjoying 4s so far cant wait for 6s. How long is your run time overall on batteries you have ran? Also what shock sleeves are you using.

My smc 4s lipos don't balance very well, but it might be my balancing board. I'm not sure on the runtime, maybe 10 minutes if I'm running hard. I take breaks and stuff.

on 8s you will more than likely kill the stock foam inserts.

Shock covers are from rc-skin

I will just be running 4s not on 8s that will be two much power and wont fit. On facebook I saw someone extend the battery case. Might consider it if my 3s are to snug
