My name is Mike Henk and I am hosting on my backyard track a free fun/race day on September 28th. This is primarily a fun/practice day and a feeler for me towards the possibility of something bigger for next summer.

The track is a fairly mild dirt layout that my friends and I have enjoyed so I thought I would invite everyone. I am located at 10585 IL-Hwy 142 Mt Vernon IL 62864. There is currently no drivers stand and there is no loop of any kind but I do have some lap counting software that will allow me to run a race or two using the number pad on my keyboard.

There is power available but bring extension cords and tables/chairs. If folks want to bring food I will have my gas grill available for use. Once again this is an informal fun day which is free of charge so come on out and enjoy. So bring the kids a cooler and have some fun.

Thanks again Mike, and everyone else. I had more fun today than Ive had in a long time. started to forget what its like outside the house. It was great to see everyone again too. And a big thanks to Will, who not only picked me up and dropped me back off, but also brought my phone back after I left it in his car.
