Well, if it ends up being Novak only for the 17.5 classes, there may be a lot fewer entries unless the decision is done soon. A number of people may want to order a "Build-A-Ballistic" and won't get them in time to do any testing if at all before the race at this point. There are only 15 working days left before the race factoring in the holiday days they are likely closed.

Well, let's hope the powers that be make a decision in the favor of ... no requirement! I'll also be "hatin' on" a Novak motor rule for 17.5 - even if Novak were on site for the race and providing them at cost.

I have a perfectly good Orion 17.5 and I can't really afford to unnecessarily increase my entry fee from $115 for two classes to $195 just because I need a special motor for this race.

Please, choose wisely. (...or I may choose not to participate!)

There are a lot of people out there that already have a good 17.5 that don't want to needlessly purchase a $90 motor for one race. I can understand if the sponsor, Novak, wants to have a particular class that only runs their motor, but I feel that it would be appropriate for that class to have the motor either included with the entry fee or at least available on site at a reduced cost. Is wasn't that long ago that you got a handout motor with your entry but with the cost of motors being what they are, I completely understand why we don't now. Old stock motors cost something like $12-$15 a piece by the case, so it was doable. Not any more.

I just wish the "powers to be" would make a decision so we can all get what we need wrapped up. I for one will just run 13.5 TC if a Novak motor is needed for the 17.5 class. I need to spend the $90 on a bunch of other stuff as I've been out of the hobby for about 5 years and need just about everything.

I'm sure that it's out of Scotty's hands or he would have surely come on here by now and let us know. Maybe he needs to send Guido out to Novak to encourage a decision.

What, no 13.5 for you DelGuido? You have to run it since Cramer is going to, how else will you get to peel him?

Default 17.5 TC

What will the weight be for this class if you had to guess?
