Default VB

Hey I use to live in VB... was there a contest or race held there recently. The whole time I was there about 2 years (from 2000-2002) I never saw one RC related event. There were plenlty of shops though. How the weather over there?

There is a lot of racing around here now:

Debbie's just had the VA state off road race last weekend, the word is they will be moving and will have indoor carpet , indoor off road & outdoor off road tracks.

Hobbytown VA Beach has a carpet track
Hobbytown Newport News has on road

Stream in Newport News has off road and a nice on road set up.

the Weather...Lots of rain today

Nice Setups there...

Here's an idea. How about gutting both the tekin and Pitbull and installing the innards on a single enclosure?

I also use the same chargers except my tekin is the BC112C and I just sold my Pitbull inorder to buy a CDC. I might try integrating a Tekin and a Victor one of these days

I'm working on a "Power Cube", it will have a flat top with a 120mm fan mounted towards the back to cool batteries and my TC3...GFX in the middle... power supply & 112a on the bottom. Tools will be mounted on either side. It will measure 10" x 10" x 10.5". My pit light will also fit on top saving more room. The 10" x 10.5" is a small foot print considering everything included. I have a VERY ROUGH model attached, once again it's a VERY ROUGH model the finished product will look better.

The GFX is set at a 10 deg angle so it easier to see. The charger leads have been moved up front.

Im looking to build one for my gfx's and my 25 amp ps...

i think it will be easier to carry around one box than 3 individual boxes...
