Yes that sounds great, so if Sat is bad then Sunday it is, and the track will be fine as we have purchased 2 baseball field covers to pull over the track

when not in use or a threat of bad weather

Yup that's what it looks like. Although I saw it in the rain. Went right home and worked on the Mugen. Waiting for some final stuff and I should be ready for this beautiful track.

OK, what is a good starting shore rating for the 1/8 scale car for this track?

37 front and 40 rear?

how long is the run line on that monster...when paint buckets look like specks from the drivers stand...soooooo exciting its almost scary...

well...i guess what they say is true...

"If you build it they will come"

is there gonna be a guest book or some way to keep up with how many showed up and from where...just think it would be neat to see how far folks traveled to run here...

I measured the driveline on the current layout (there is more than 1 layout possible) with a handheld GPS and came up 973 ft. Yikes!

Thanks to all the guys who showed up yesterday... got to run a few practice heats to check out the computer, scoring loop, PA ...all working fine. Things should go smoothly next Saturday.

BTW: Nice job Vincent on the layout... AWESOME!

Think like this Carl. An 8th scale car looks like a 12th scale car at Mimi's or Southshore. A 5th scale car, one was out yesterday, looks like an electric touring on the same tracks. Gas touring cars look like the minis ran at Mimi's last big race. If you race 8th scale and do not come to race at this track you're not an 8th scale racer in my book. The track is perfect for this class! I am actually looking forward as a spectator to see this class run. No I don't want an 8th scale.
