Default Arcadia RC Support Thread + Product Announcements

Hi Everyone

Arcadia RC is a new distributor in Australia. We are the exclusive agents in Australia for the following brands:

1. JConcepts (kits & shells)
2. Tekin Electronics (ESC & chargers)
3. Putnam Propulsion (motors & brushes)
4. Tobee Craft (hop ups & parts)
5. Precision Racing Systems (spur & pinion gears)
6. Xenon Racing (accs, run in stations, car stands etc)
7. Finish Line (bearing lube, comm fluid, diff lube)

We also wholesale 3Racing's range of products.

As some may know, JConcepts, Tekin and some other brands were previously distributed in Australia by another establishment. However, Arcadia RC has acquired the new exclusive rights and all emails enquiring about the product should be directed to our new email address:

[email protected] - for orders, price lists etc - dealers only
[email protected] - for product information, release dates etc

Please be informed that we do not sell directly to the public and all sales have to be done through your local hobby store. If your local hobby store does not stock any of our products, please ask them to contact us or drop us an email and we will point you in the right direction.

Besides product announcements, we hope that the public will use this thread to discuss our products, exchange tips, comments etc. If you do have a private query, please do not hesistate to contact us through the PM or the email.

We will try our very best to assist anyone that needs help. We would also like to apologise for the long delay of our products getting released here in Australia due to the new take over etc.

All other information should be on our web site at www.arcadiarc.com which we will be updating by the end of this month as we are expecting all our products to arrive by then.

We will keep you updated...

Thank you

Are any of these items in shops in Australia yet? As I am particularly interested in the new Tekin G11.

Good to see Arcadia making themselves available to the general public, i have been running their Tekin Speed controls for about the last 6 months, it has served me well so far, the speed control is very smooth, and seems to generate a ton of power. I have been reading a little about the forthcoming G11 speed control and am very impressed so far.

People whinge about the dimensions of the Tekin speed controls in comparison to other brands, but they fail to recognise that the Tekin products do not require an external barrell capacitor, a shotky diode (or in some cases a tree of them) or the famous Teabag as required on another range of speedies. Also the layout of the wiring makes for a very neat install, and prominent solder posts allow easy rewiring, for more details go look at the specs on the website www.teamtekin.com

If there is anything i can assist with please post away.

Have heard some impressive results from this spintec batter manager, or batman as the septics call it. Also Spintec is in the process of producing a battery charger where each cell is charged independantly of the others, something that has never been done before. Looking forward to seeing things progress from this company.

What benefit would a mod runner get in using this product? Im lucky to get 200-300 mah left in my pack during a run.

Dan - it is also used to cycle your packs, the variable discharge is supposed to break up the crystals formed on the plates of the cells internals. Ih ave read thaty when used on 3 month old packs, you can actually hear the cells crackling away when attached to the unit when the pack is fully charged.

I can confirm this - oldish packs crackle away when they're on the unit. I had a play with one on the weekend and they do seem to revive old packs quite well. You can certainly feel the difference in the car.
