Thanks for the response...anyone know why the armature seperated from the core? Is it keyed to the core?

Carl Giordano - If you want to play it safe and be sure... purchase a Novak Velociti Brushless Motor to avoid magnet and rotor problems that seem to plague the Neo-One Brushless cans. I own 6 Novak GTBs and Velociti Brushless Motors and have never had nay problems. I bought an LRP Sphere and Neo-One and the thing didn't even last half a pack before I had to send it in to Associated. Fortunately, they replaced the whole thing but it was a few weeks befoer I got it back.... so far it has been alright but every time I come on here I keep seeing Racers have one problem or another. At this point it is not worth the risk and hassle.... Hope LRP finally learns and changes things.... soon!

Perefctly. They work Perfectly together. I feel with TC on carpet that the 4300 is very evenly matched to a good 19t. I know others have said the 5800 is a perfect match, but that just hasn't been my experience. The 4300 is certainly faster than stock though.

X11 is LRP's designation for the latest can/stator assembly. It has a few internal updates developed for the Worlds.

Hey Carl to answer your question its from the use of a "bonded" rotor...I think the actualy neo material is bonded together and then bonded to the shaft or its bonded all at one time around the shaft...or at least thats how I understand it. That is why the companies are now wanting to go to Sintered magnets as they are more reliable and effecient. They are supposedly a WHOLE lot faster as well!!

LRP X11 replace the old one. There will be 1*, 2*, 3* and 4*.
A 5* was used at the worlds and should be released... one day...

Any chance LRP will go the same route Novak went with the ability to have replacement rotors. I would sooner buy a replacement than send in the motor for a replacement motor. And pay shipping and whatever other cost their is.

Hi,

Im still struggling to get my 4 star motor to stay cool enough, actually im unsure whether its the speedo or the motor, but whatever its shutting down as its too hot. What is the best method to keep it cool? Do i really have to fork out for the LRP cooling fan kit, or is there another way.

My gearings are as per the manual suggests.

thanks

I run in the Arizona desert and have yet to thermal my LRP/4-star combo. On a smallish asphalt track (110feet by 40 feet), I'm gearing my T2 @ 14/90 (~11 FDR) with standard rubber tires. It has no problem keeping up with the other cars on the track and it has never thermaled even in 110F heat (~43C)...
