if you can see the starter box in person then all you have to do is test it

starter boxs are not complicated stuffs, so if it works then it's ok

if you want a new starter box that works and have good price then you may want to consider team magic's starter box line up, i got my X5 for 60usd and i am satisfied

Default starter box...

for me, any starter box will do. i you can get a universal starter box with two 540 motors, the better. these can turn even the hardest motor. i've used a starter box the two 540 motors with a 14.4 volts power to break in my rbx12 turbo tuned by rody engine. it turned the engine with ease. italian engines are one of the hardest engines to turn when your still breaking it in..

If you runnin a small block, a universal starter box (2-540's) w/ a 7amp 12V gel cell is plenty enough for the task. I wouldn't recommended using 2 stick packs....Ive tried that and lets just say they SUCK. A 1/10 universal starter box with 2 540 motors and a 12V 7amp gel cell would cost about 75 brand new. i have not doubt that it is strong, ive even started a .25 with it

thanks for response guys i actually got my hands on a Q-World starter box with 2 stick picks in it and running off one big motor. I've read somewhere that 1 big motor has more torque than 2 540s put together or something like that. but i goto admit i dont like stick packs either i've only started it say 10-15 times and now the batteries are flat! gonna get one of those big 12v cells
