Default oh, dunt you worry!

hiya folks,

we ARE planning activities for kids this holiday (can you say drive camp?)

but for now, this race serves 2 purpose... kids get to drive and learn with their peers and not be stressed about having to perform like adult drivers.

I get to play with the transponder system and get some sun.

so, if you have a kid who's keen to make new friends and race in a easy to drive (seriously, we have thought about how to make it easier for noobs and kids to pick up driving and have fun), no pressure race. bring him down, the event should not last more then a couple of hours, max 4 hours (although i sincerely doubt it'll last quite so long)

cheerio!

What is the definition of 'silver cans'?

Can HPI Sprint 2 with stock 17T motor qualify?

hiya Ken4,

well, we would prefer that everyone use touring cars with silver can motors, this is because all players are KIDS! and its a little harder to explain to kids why some other kid is going so much faster then the other kid.

but we leave it to you parents to use your discretion. at the end of the day, it's really not about all out wins (at any cost) but to enjoy the day racing with other kids of similar age, and making new friends and having FUN!!!

an example of a silver-can motor is the mabuchi 540.

cheerio!

Hi,
As i understand, silver can motor (mabuchi 540) is faster than the stock motor of mini-inferno, am i right? Or its the other way around?
Thanks in advance for all the answer as it will broaden my knowledge regarding the motors.

well, a silvercan (mabuchi 540) is much larger then the stock motor in a mini-inferno. it most likely produces more torque, though maybe not as much rpm.

however, the car it's straped into>>> touring car, is definately heavier then a mini inferno.

so if you're wondering if a touring car with a silver can is faster then a mini inferno with a stock motor? There really is no answer to that other then on-track test.

the race will be easy for ALL kids to drive in, and less pressure on the kids cos they aren't driving against adults.

cheerio!
