I just wanted to let everyone know about our upcoming race, the JConcepts Clash. All of the information is on the site listed below, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. Here is a little tid bit from the website:

Clash Site

Racers of all skill level are invited to participate where "The Powers Explode" at the JConcepts Clash at Lake Park in Lutz, FL. December 7-9th, 2007.

IFMAR World Champions - National Champions, they have all raced at Lake Park. However, this event is about nitro and electric racers of any skill level. The Hurricane R/C Club has the facility and history - It's up to you to bring the driving. All the greats have raced at Lake Park - you should too!

That is sweet!

They've since added a seperate announcers booth, on the side opposte the car, and a raised pit lane in front of the driver stand though(google needs to get with the fast paced rc industry!, haha).

Racers of all skill level are invited to participate where “The Powers Explode” at Lake Park in Tampa, FL. December 7-9th 2007. The Hurricane R/C Club has the facility and history, It’s up to you to bring the driving. All the greats have raced at Lake Park – you should too! Electric is back and better than ever, 2wd or 4wd, it doesn’t matter. When you think about racing electric R/C cars – do you think about bump ups? Or 10 or 15 minute mains? Well, you should now! This event has been designed with the latest in technology in mind. Longer lasting batteries and brushless motors allowed! Electric guys – it’s just what you are looking for.

Nitro is hot and it is furious, especially at Lake Park. Lots of power, long mains and a great racing track – it just doesn’t get much better than this. Bring the 1/8th buggies, trucks, monster trucks and 1/10th scale trucks to Lake Park for the ultimate throw-down! Nitro guys - Lake Park has hosted some of the best off-road races ever. Become a part of the continuing history of Lake Park – Nitro style.

I know people are interested...

Ryan Maifield (US), Richard Lowe (UK), and possibly Lee Martin (UK) will be flying in for the race, as of right now. As the date approaches we should have other confirmations. JR Mitch, Ryan Eckert, Leon McIntosh, Jason Ruona are also scheduled to attend.

Heck, we might even get Paul Wynn out there for a weekend!

Man I wish I could go. but I live in San Diego, CA so that wouldnt work.

We put on a strong push for local entries at the first Florida State Series race and I think we may have doubled (possibly more) the number of registered drivers, or roughly 45-60. This is definately a good think considering its still more than 7 weeks away.

I was right, a little on the low end, but having 40 entries before the race is always a good sign. Still plenty of time for more guys to sign up online, and the numbers are usually 4 times that, plus some.
