It all depends on what "life" stuff I have going on. I would say I average around 3-6 a week.....sometimes much more.....

I am a faskolor guy - I know a few painters use Pactra (Roly/WED Jim) - and their bodies look great! ShopUFO only uses Faskolor and his stuff is killer as well.

I like Faskolor b/c it is waterbased - thus much easier to clean and also no smelly fumes. I have been playing with some pactra and I really like some of the colors you can get with Pactra that you can't get with Faskolor....

So - both are good - Faskolor is less toxic

BUT with BOTH - USE A MASK!!!!

Is it true that a new and nicely painted McGoo shell makes you run faster and stay off the boards?

Mark,
How would you suggest controlling over spray with a single action air brush, and what type of dual action airbrush would you recommend, as in gravity, siphon, etc? Thanks ahead of time.

I am a gravity feed kinda guy. I have heard it doesn't make as much of a mess and is easier to clean up.

For single action - your best bet is going to be with your PSI on your air compressor. When i first started out I was using cheapo dual action. I was using way too much air than what I needed. My brush always clogged up and it was a MAJOR pain in the you know what.

Dual action will make your life much easier as a painter. Single action you seemed to be locked into one setting. If you are wanting more paint to come out a little faster and you are covering a large area, one thing you can do (if your brush allows it) is to just pull back the needle a touch and then lock it in place. I am not sure if a single action can do that - but what it does is "open up" the nozzle to allow for more paint to come through. Don't pull back too much on the needle - JUST A TOUCH!!

Hope that helps...
