I as well as many others are interested as well. For this being the P9R thread, I see a lot of questions being avoided/ignored. The only answers we have had are the usual sales man pitch " it's fassssst", "I've seen it GO!" and all that hoopla.

The motor is a 7 port. OFNA changed the number to keep it seperate from the offroad P7.

There was an EVO 1.

No problem, I as well as others (M7H, quietstorm76)look forward to hearing feedback from someone that has experience with this motor such as yourself. I just don't get anything out of responses like "it's fast, I've seen it" or "I have them in stock, they're going fast". Some real world hands on testing and comparisons is required in these evaluations. Thanks C Verano, your feedback is most appreciated.

So far here in Las Vegas the motor has been running very well. In this higher elevation (2000 ft ) the motor has been running in the 225 range with .40 mm of shims and 30% O'Donnell. With the Picco 2033 pipe and conicle header the motor has very good bottom and the top end is also very good. We should be running the "A" main in a few hours. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

And are you talking about .40 mm of headshims, or .40 mm of head clearance?
Because I would like to know the head clearance, the head shims don't tell me much....
Picco is known for sometimes having different thickness of headbutton somewhere between 0 and 0.25 mm of headclearance, without shims......

Well, as I am very happy with running the Mega ZX line of engines, I am not really interested in the performance, I do believe this is good....

Well I've asked questions in the ORION CRF thread, and the Ninja thread, and this is not whishfull here

You only are allowed to Ohhh, and Ahhhh the engines.....
If not, you are askes if you can leave the thread, because critisism is not allowed.....

So the P7R evo2 and P9R are the same motor? I know the P7R evo2 says so right on the carb neck so will the P9R also say P7R?

Yes. it was named P9R here in the US to further identify it as an On-Road engine, so if you say P7R then it is off-road, instead of saying P7R on-road and P7R for off-road, it's easier right?

So the first sleeve pictured is a 51217(mod) and the second is a 51219(mod). Both come in a block stamped P7R on the carb neck but different internals and heads.

The P/S and head button part # for the P9R is 51369, I don't know what 51217 and 51219 are for.
