Default 2006 FEMCA On Road Championship

The biennial Far East Model Car Association On Road Championship will be held in Taichung, Taiwan from May 18th to May 21st at the beautiful Titan track.

Other than the Worlds, this is the biggest nitro on road event in Asia. Drivers from other IFMAR blocks such as ROAR and EFRA are allowed to compete as well. The event is being sponsored by Sirio, Kawahara, Kyosho Taiwan, SH, STS, Team Magic, Power Racing. Current signups include Adrien Bertin, Masao Tanaka, and Yuruki just to name a few. Entry is limited to 100 so if you are interested you need to act quickly. Entry deadline is 3/31.

For more information including hotel, track, and race schedule, please see the official 2006 FEMCA site:

Hey Joe, I think he is but probably running more electric than nitro. The R40 is dated and I am sure we will hear more about Hara if HPI comes out with a new nitro car.

Hey Leigh I am glad you made it to the event. I am still in Taipei and I hosted Trevor to a lunch on Tuesday just before he flew out. Too bad you couldn't make it.

I heard you were 2nd in the final until your car broke! That is great considering the field you were going against! Hope you have better luck at the worlds.

I've PMed you my email. Stay in touch!

Does anyone know what the fastest lap times were for Sedan at FEMCA?

I am gessing 14.5-15.0sec

After about 15min of practice I was able to do 15.0 and 15.1 lap times when I was there last year but there wasn't a lot of people to laydown traction.

I heard that there are only very few drivers participating in the big event, is that true?
