Default 1/18th scale race at Science fair

Here are a few photos of a race I attended at a science fair in Union City, Calif. They had HobbyTown USA sponsor a race for the 1/18th scale indoor race. The track layout was very nice and technical. The top 5 winners in the A-main got a gift certificate in this order: $200,$150,$100, $75, and $50. Most of the racers used vendettas and RC18T, and RC18B's. The majority of the main had vendettas. This was a great way to promote and educate the public about r/c cars and r/c racing. Enjoy.

How is it running os the PRC (I think that's the brand or real close) with 18th scales? I've been thinking about picking up some to race in the house with mini-z's and 18th scales.... Figure I can turn my garage into a track when it's nice also.... (My real cars don't go out unless it's nice)

Surprizingly, its dialed using the stock duratrax vendetta and proline tires. The track is made my RCP and the track is mainly used for mini-z cars. But, as you can see, we took it a step further. Here's one of the track layouts in the hobbyshop. Everybody calls it the supercross layout.

The photo I took was a reverse angle of the small jumps. The cars would come from the other side and go over them as if they were stutter jumps.

Here are some video action of the race:
