I know I read someplace a while back that ORION supports these batteries being charged at 2c (6.4 amps)

Is this info on the ORION Web Site anywhere?
Not yet but it will be.

Yes you can charge both the Platinum and the 3200 at 2C.

Right now ShopPeakracing site is on hold why we re-evaluate what we would like to do with Peak.

After that 1st cell is finish, connect the charger's positive to the center 2mm connector and the charger's negative to the battery's negative and charge away.
I've ran mine for 3 weeks for 3 races so that's about 9 cycles. I checked the voltage on each and each voltage is even...
What Amps and Volts are you using. 3.2A/7.4V or 1.6A/7.4V or 3.2A/3.7V or 1.6A/3.7V ??

It should be 3.2A/3.7V.

Reasoning is, each cell of the pack is 3.7V and you are charging each individually. Each cell's capacity is 3200mah regardless of how many in series so you still charge at a 1C rate.

Is there really a need to adjust the capacity? The charging is based off voltage. When your re-peaking after a practice run, you may only top off 1000 mah.

I can see if you had a charger malfunction. I guess it may shut down before it goes "critical mass". Guess I answered my own question.

Yes the first new battery of the next wave is in production.

It is true 25C it is larger capacity then the 3200 and comes with a new case shape.

A press release should be going out soon to release the rest.

That is all I will say at this time.

Mr. Black,

A little off-topic, I apologize. Do you know the default timing on the Orion 13.5 motor?

Any chance that Orion will make a saddle pack a la BJ4/B44 style?
