Have you ever been to 301?

I was planning on running it there, but this thing is leaking like crazy, LSN and front bearing - I didn't even finish breaking it in yet. Car was a mess after I took the engine out. Kamikaze, do you have any LSN O rings you could bring to 301?

My brother and I are having the same problem with the leaking. The engine ran geat but there was oil all the place. So please hook us up with some of those O-rings at 301.

I took the LSN out and the O ring was demaged/cut, so it definitely could not make a good seal. Replacing it should solve the problem...

What about those of us that will not be attending the 301? Do we get a couple o-rings thrown in with every purchase?

The weather is nice down here in Maryland. It rain a little bit but the sun came out and we was back at the track 301 that is. See you guys this Wed,or Thur. Just 2 days away

Either im runnin too lean on the top end or Im doing something right. The only place mine seems to leak from is the exausht gasket. Theres some oil on the engine, but not from the carb. I am running it rather rich on the bottom end.

My JLR is the same, no leaks here, my exhaust to pipe gasket does leak and go bad after awhile, especially with my beater RD pipe, works better with my Skyline pipe.

Any body have durability issues with this mill? I need a new engine and am a big Picco fan. I'm used to getting many gallons through my race engines and want to know what you guys are getting, longivity wise. Also, How are these engines at holding a tune? tia, Nick

My brother and I both ran the JL this weekend at the Capital Classic down in Maryland, and the engine was awesome. Special thanks to Sam and Nigel from Team Kamakaze. Sam twisted the screws on the engines for us and had them tuned right. The power is great all around and the run time is incredible. The motor ran with all the other motors, and ran away from some. You'll definately like it. The reason for the leak was from us over tightening the collar on the carb. Changed it and all is well.

Is the jl red dot shimmed for 30% or do I need to add 1 shim
Using 30% tornado and skyline vr+ pipe
