I think either one are cable of the lap times. I only drove Jon's XX-4 only for a couple of laps, felt good to me.

Try ebay. I won a XXX-4 for $150.00. I am not sure if the XXX-4 buggy is good or bad, and I did not know Losi re-released the XX-4. I know you can get the XXX-4G+ off eBay for $329.00 Buy it Know option. Also Family may still have a XX-4 for $329.

Ray- XX4 because it's in stock 
Sherman- No swaybars. That just made the car slide. But I don't have a really good setup for that car. I never found one I really liked. But that was on the old dirt with the old layouts they ran with washboard sections that were really rough. I'd say go to Losi's site and find one with a track description that looks similar to Family. That should be a good starting point.

Chirag Patel -Lazer ZX5 (just got myself one) and I am waiting for it to come in.
What type of modified motor should I get. I have heard great things about Team CheckPoint. Also, anyone have a good starting setup so I know what springs to get. I will have to stop by the store and pick up some parts in case I break. I will be racing more on Wednesdays but will try some Fridays.
