I purchased this car new and used it for one short season and stored away. Never raced, only backyard bashed and well taken care of.
The TCP was Traxxas' best race buggy, which they called the "Total Competition Package".
Quote:
When you're ready to enter the pro-racing off-road arena, you need more than just another car; you need a Total Competition Package...The Traxxas TCP.
The TCP is a total racing system, including all the factory team parts, such as full ball bearings; hard-anodized, TeflonŽ-coated shocks; slipper clutch; pro ball differential (with bearings); precision gears; and an incredibly rigid chassis.
The package also includes extra shocks, tires, rims, suspension arms, metal driveshafts, and other specialized parts for unbeatable custom tuning flexibility.
It's like having an entire high-performance speed shop in one box, for about the same price as a "regular" buggy.
I still have most of the original parts, what is missing are the stub axle pins (2754), front bumper (2735), rear wing tubes (2692), and battery hold down plate (2527). These parts are interchangeable with the TRX-3 and can be found on buytraxxas.com for a total of $12.00. Several years after I stopped using the buggy I had an idea to convert it to a Rally car, which is why it's setup with the post mount bumper and shorter front A arms.
Found a few more parts that were missing, gear cover, original shock tower, shock pistons, caster wedges, spring spacer clips, original exploded view/parts list (haven't found the manual yet)

Looking for a buggy that comes in kit form, is 4wd, 1/10, and takes stick packs. Any suggestions? www.facebook.com/onewingedwolfe
