Is there a real need for the new 235mm class

Run a smaller engine. Or a smaller restrictor.

Maybe...
Or for thr sake of racing... just keep it to 2 gp classes: 1/8th gp and 1/8th gt.
No real need for 1/10th tc/gp/235...
Just look at how 1/10 gp stadium trucks have gone the way of the dodo... never to return. Cos there is a 1/8truggy class that took its place.
I would say 1/8gt to have taken pretty much all interest and participation that would otherwise have gone to 1/10gp/tc/235...

Smaller engines and/or restrictors will damage engines.....
I do not know in what world you live.....
1/10 200mm may be low but still alive. Also in south of Europe the 1/8 classic is reasonable popular.
The question was if there is a need for a return of the 235mm in the way they are now making those cars.

Nooo
No need for 235 class.. if we want we can run 1/8.. no something like 1/8
the 1/10 class is unique and beautifull as category.
