Some day folks will learn that new cars and revisions are rolled out around worlds time.

Totally understandable. I'd be pissed too.
Oh well, just be glad you didn't invest in an RC8.2, only to end up on a neverending quest to find the right combo of Frankenmods which can't even get the Ryans a win..., leading to talk of a new one coming out against the backdrop of an emerging awareness that no combination of Frankenmods will really make the RC8.2 what it should have been in the first place.

@Todd or Adam
What a nice Car! I love it!! Nice job!
In your TLRACING site (I can't post link this is my first message) I read: "Myriad of option parts included-Front and rear adjustable hinge pin mounts, lightweight 48T spur gear, lightweight outdrives in all three differentials, aluminum bearing inserts, and +1mm rear hexes"
What does this mean? The rear is more wide on 3.0 or in package we have optional +1mm rear exes?
The chassis is more flexible than the 2.0 chassis or it is the same because it is hard coated?
Excuse me for my bad english!!

So my only problem with the car is how they released it after sayin NO all year and the price. Whats funny to me, all the people complaining that its not what they expected.
I'm kinda on Jerome side....

This is the same thing that happened when they went from the 1.0 to the 2.0. They made just enough changes that you had to buy a new car. Everyone thought they would just be able to upgrade and it was not that. I need a new chassis and my 2.0 is beat up. I will buy this when I get a good deal on one.. Price should come down a bit once released..

Hey Adam quick question, will some of the upgrades from 2.0 like aluminum rear hubs fit, and are the bearing size the same, will the light weight axles work , titanium shock stand off fit the new shock towers and will ya be coming out with carbon fiber shock towers.
Thanks,
Dwayne

I'm not Adam or Todd but I think I can help you with some of your questions...
Yes in the 3.0 package you will receive +1mm rear hexes. Previously, these were options on the 2.0 but will now come standard in the 3.0 buggy.
The chassis is more flexible. It's the same thickness as the 2.0 however it has been milled out more than the 2.0 to increase flex and help the car handle better especially in the rough and bumpy parts of the track.
The 3.0 with all the changes/improvements and upgrades included is really going to be an exciting buggy to race with!
I hope this helps!
