It was at an Outback Steak House back in 2003 when I first had the idea of doing a big race in Las Vegas. A bunch of us were there during the 1/8th Worlds and tossing ideas around and it is there that the concept of the International Indoor Championships was born. In 2005 we brought the idea to life and I hope it was there that we started to change the way major RC events were produced.

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since we pulled open the curtain at the Stardust Hotel and the first IIC brought RC Racers from all corners of the World together to have a different kind of race. In 10 years we have watched so many things change from Brushed to Brushless from Foam to Rubber from Cells to Lipo but one thing that has stayed constant is our goal to give everyone the best experience we can, doing what we all love so much, Racing in Las Vegas at the IIC.

The tradition continues again this year October 13-18th at the Riviera Hotel and Casino. You can now call the Riviera Hotel and Casino at 800-634-6753 and mention group code SIIC14. This will give you the special IIC rate of $60 on weekdays and $92 on weekends. Make sure you use our code because it waives the mandatory resort fee of $15 per day and our code gives you free internet in your hotel room.

Some great things planned for this year’s event. We are going to expand Spec GT Concourse event that we hold during our Sponsor Meet and Greet on Tuesday night with FREE FOOD AND BEER! They have renovated the Top of the Riviera where we hold our Drivers meeting Buffet, so we should have even a nicer time on Monday night.

So great things are in store for the 10th running of the IIC and we hope everyone can make plans to join us in Vegas to race on the rug and share in the fun we have at the IIC.

This being a Worlds year, many of the Superstars that will be attending the Worlds in Florida will be flying directly to Vegas on Monday to join us at the IIC. This should be our biggest field of international racers and what we hope will be the best IIC ever.

At some point I'll have a feature in there to go back and add and pay for a class, since we usually have people that want to add classes down the road. But for now Scotty has to do that manually.

Glad the system is working okay, we're using it for the AOC now and I'm continuing to add more features as time allows. The best part though is the direct export of the data to RC Scoring Pro

SHANE ARCHER is the brain child of the entry system and I cant thank him enough for the time he has spend over the years to make this all come together.

Looks like you have to buy Bill a drink in Vegas. I suggest doing it while playing slots. Better prices on drinks that way.

Wanted to register and be there last year; but, doctor nixed me from traveling.

These days I have far more titanium in me than on my cars. A whole knee's worth.

Still need to hire a corner marshal at this point...But slowly improving...LOL

Tell me when you start practicing at TQ and I will try to make it down there with Crashby and OD.
