I haven't attended a major race since Cleveland last year........ but I plan on going back to Cleveland this year as it is always on my race schedule every year no matter what other races I attend.

Besides....... Thanksgiving at home is boring! We can have Denny's!

Ok, so my question(s):

I'll be attending my first Champs this year, after having run at the 'Birds in 2009 and 2010. Yeah...tweren't pretty, neither...LOL...

Anyways...how does the pit setup work? Show up, pick a table...? Wednesday night, can we set up?

How 'bout Concourse Thursday? Are there different "divisions"? Most Realistic, most colorful, fans' choice, etc.?

Lookin' forward to this one

Oh - and let's hear from some oval guys here Any tire-choice tips, setup tips, rollout, etc.? Gonna be running Tekin RS/Duo3/PowerPush.

Cool

Yeah you pit in your room , the tv acts as your monitor , with a list of the heats and you have sound ...

concourse one for each class I believe that the way it was done in the past then they give us a little pizza party after all winners and pic....

17 more days . . . . .

Umm...well...won't *have* a room at the hotel (and not planning on getting one); I only live like 30 minutes from there Is there any trackside/conference room pitting at all (like at the 'Birds)...? And, yes, I do realize that this is *not* the 'Birds...just wondering if there's any pitting set up like what they do down south.

About the pitting situation...just got a message from Wayne (at The Gate) that he thinks there's a $25.00 fee for pitting trackside/ballroom. Can anyone confirm/deny? Need to plan financially...

That just doesn't seem right.

I'd wait for Ian (CypressMidWest) to confirm or deny this to make it official.

The price for the ballroom is based on x number of rooms sold for the event, if a certain number is not met then the price for the ballroom goes up. I believe there used to not be any trackside pitting and EVERYONE had to get a room, the complaints led to a compromise of sorts and frankly $25 for a trackside pit-space at a event of this magnitude is a bargain.

I was joking with Kingbee.

In all seriousness I think the $25 is a great deal and I wish my schedule worked a little better so I could do this race.
