I have bought and/or read RC Car Action, RC Driver, Xtreme RC, and RC Car and overall I rate RC Driver the best as it seems to try to be more fair to all forms of rc cars. RC Car Action used to be the best, but they are mostly ads these days, and they might as well change their name to "Offroad RC Car Action" as that seems to be all they care about anymore.

All the magazines lag behind the web forums in terms of product news, and are generally biased in their reviews because of sponsorships and relationships, but I do remember Aaron Waldron (R/C Car) giving a pretty honest review of a pretty bad product (Team Losi Strike), so that mag at least gets my respect.

I agree on the Offroad RC Car Action. I wrote it on their forum to the editors, and got some lame answer. I have subscribed for 5 years and had just renewed for 2 years, but with less and less onroad and nothing to read it it. I then cancelled my subscription and wanted refund since it's 90% offroad and 10% boats now.
