I switched to a PT after a few races last year, and saving the headache of scrambling to find the correct transponder between heats was well worth the investment. I highly recommend the clones from the UK; you don't have to even have an AMB to start, you can just get them to make you an ID.

Guys, get ready for your First TCS series of the year. It's going to be a lot of fun. Most of you have been running indoors with the minis. So there should be a lot of close racing.

We are taking registrations now. Those who signed up will get the new designed T Shirts for this year. Sooner we get this info in before Jan 29, we know how many to get and sizes.
We need your name, classes, frequency, PT numbers and shirt size.

Please review the TCS rules closely as it will be strict. Silver cans rules will be enforced to keep the same level of playing field. Those who wants to cheat will be disqualified.

Same as last year, GTX class will be offered for those who doesn't have a Tamiya chassis. It'll be 13.5 rubber. Top 3 will be awarded.

Marshalling seems to be a problem these days. We'll not call your name out anymore. If you don't marshall, points and laps will be deducted.
If someone is to marshall for you, you need to tell us. It's very simple. Finish your race, put your car down at the tech table and go marshall.
Hope to see you all soon.

Where do we sign up? What is the cost? I always look for races at http://www.rcsignup.com/ but I don't see anything about this race at that site. Any chance of getting it setup there?

Hello Tamiya Competitors!

Race fees are as follows for the Western Canadian Tamiya Championship Series:

First Class: $30.00
Second Class: $10.00
Third Class: $5.00

***There will also be an EXTREME Class available***
I would like to run a 13.5 Rubber sedan class (and if not enough intrested, we will move it to 17.5 Rubber sedan class.)
spec tire rules apply
Weight rules will apply
Fees will be the same
POINT SERIES applies

Let me know what you guys think for the Extreme Class and we will finalize in the first week of Feb.

I will post the point series breakdown in a couple days.

Cheers!

***also please start posting your sign ups here THAKS!!***
