Default 2008 Knox 4 Hour Vintage Enduro

It's that time of year again. Call the "A team" and get ready to do the impossible.

The Knox Vintage Enduro is back. 2 hours was a little easy last year, so we've let in the Lipos and doubled the time.

This year it's four hours long, so bring your glasses, Grandpa!!

We want to see an army of Grasshoppers so get out the dusters and check on your plastic bearings.

Sport tuned/540/380 motors only. Entry form and Rules are attached.

See your entry soon.

-Antony Howard

Ant

Does this replace the regular club meet scheduled for that day?

Cheers

Bring it on my good man!!! Im going to have to decide wether the speed of the sports tuned is worth the reliability of the 540 or dare i say it 380-
I will be doing my darndest to come down for this one Ant, last year was a blast! The mighty Schumacher is still yet to prove its worth so this may be the meeting to lay it all down!

I am definately keen on this meeting as I'm sure other out of staters will be. Perhaps we can organize some group accommodation for the event?
If you are interested please let me know and we'll see what numbers are available and work out some costs in advance.

I would definetly be keen on pitching in for some accomadation etc.Maybe we could buy a bulk pack of bacon and BBQ everyday.I would be flying down so would be good if we could share car hire too.The vintage meet at Ryde was so much fun,a 4 hour race will be awsome.

-Alex maybe this year you can run shock oil and glue your tires up to the rims-Lol.
-Ant I can only find one major flaw in the rules this year,I reckon for a car to be classed as vintage it must have a driver figure wether it be a genuine or alternative fixture.
Last year was a lot of fun and well worth the trip and expense but I reckon this year will be even better.

Thanks Ant

I don't have a vintage but would love to drive it someone needs a partner. Otherwise count me in to help with some marshalling.....

Should be a good event

COme on dude, you know I had shock oil and glue in place for the event.... just not practice!!!!

This year I think I'll do something the opposite of last year..... hard wire the transmitter crystals, and leave the motors as easily removable!! Oh, and prepare more than two minutes before the race....

Again with the driver figures...... Jason, do you have "little man" syndrome???
